Special Olympics Bass Fishing Tournament

Fishing Smiles!

Because of you, a special experience was shared between the athletes, anglers, volunteers and community that was genuinely priceless. The smiles and unity felt and seen between all, was truly heart-stirring and one to be cherished. Again, all because of you!

Your efforts resulted in:

  • 15 Special Olympic Athlete’s participated in the Fishing Clinic
  • 9 registered tournament boats and 17 anglers
  • 10 tangible donations for silent auction and raffle received from local and metro Milwaukee businesses
  • $2,200 raised, comprised from raffle, silent auction and private donations (100% to Special Olympics) and tournament registration fees (25% to Special Olympics)

The funds raised from the event, will be donated back to the Greater Milwaukee athletes, of which 96% will be earmarked for program efforts and 4% devoted to administrative costs.

In closing, please know that you have made a difference in the lives of the 1,900 athletes this chapter supports. Because of you, the children and adults with disabilities in the Special Olympics Organization, will continue to have opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy while participating in year-around training’s and competitions.

We are grateful that so many generous souls have supported this cause. Thank you for helping us provide a special day and future support, to some pretty amazing and loving children and adults. We are looking forward to hosting this event again in 2019!
